Overview: Constructed a trash can controlled by a micro-controller to recognize and sort types of recycled trash automatically. Partner used Watson facial recognition to identify cardboard, cans, and paper. I constructed the recycling can prototype separated into 3 sections for each type of trash. The recycling can automatically choose the section the trash would fall into. Project main feature:
